Peter Smart is a professional Wildlife Photographer, Tutor and experienced Tour Leader based in the UK with destinations including Galapagos, India, Sri Lanka, Brazil, Borneo, the Arctic and many countries in Africa. He also provides photography training courses and one-to-one tuition for all levels of experience in the UK.
Peter has a wealth of knowledge and experience gained from 30 years of travelling to many of the remote and beautiful wildlife destinations around the World. He has tutored nearly two thousand wildlife photography workshops and led around one hundred tours to more than a dozen different countries. In this period he has enjoyed the company of hundreds of fellow photographers, many of whom are kind enough to travel with him again and again.
Recent destinations have included Kenya, Madagascar, Tanzania, Zambia, Rwanda, Botswana, Namibia, India, Sri Lanka, Borneo, Brazil, Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands and the Arctic. Peter treats it as a genuine privilege to introduce people to the wildlife, landscapes and people of the countries he visits and his knowledge, organisational skills and sense of fun ensures that not only will you have excellent photographic and game-viewing opportunities but also a highly enjoyable holiday!
